Lao Tzu

                          Artist: ig@Kiss_a_mermaid

English translation:
"Still contemplating about 「上善若水」,  I saw May's card on her Instagram, my heart was filled with resonance. Yesterday, I finally met her in person at the Markham Welcome Centre and listened to her stories about each card, how precious!"

"I used to live in Tai O, Hong Kong, (the fishing village), where the water was very beautiful. My parents immigrated to the UK, also by the water, beautiful too!”

Feeling connected.

「上善若水」 translated by getting help from Meta AI

"Laozi: The highest virtue is like water."

This week, I've been envying a state: 'I am water.'

“Flowing effortlessly, trickling long, nourishing wherever I pass, even through tiny crevices, but I cannot stay, nor need I look back. I will move forward, continue to flow forward."

"The highest virtue is like water, water benefits all things and does not compete, it resides in the lowest place, yet is above all things."

This quote highlights the importance of humility, selflessness, and adaptability, which are core values in Taoist philosophy.
